Ok Queens. Back to home

Our mission

To give women and girls a kind, welcoming place to explore their creativity, share their work, and build confidence through thoughtful feedback and community.

Why we’re here

Long before the internet, women’s creative ambitions were often met with judgment about their gender, identity, and how they were expected to behave. Online, trolling and abuse can make sharing a poem, a video, or an opinion feel daunting.

That pressure can deepen self-doubt: Am I good enough? Am I interesting enough? Am I cool enough to belong? Too often, ideas stay unexplored and work stays unseen.

Room to begin

Ok Queens welcomes budding writers and creators, first attempts, unfinished drafts, and unusual interests. You do not need a following, a polished style, or confidence to belong. We want you to feel heard and respected while you learn, experiment, and find your voice.

Feedback that helps

We encourage honest, thoughtful responses that recognise what works and offer specific ways to improve. Kindness and useful criticism belong together. Feedback should respect the creator and help her take the next step; humiliation and attacks on identity have no place here.

Confidence on your terms

Whether you create for yourself or hope to reach a wider audience, our purpose is to help you keep going, develop your craft, and trust your voice. You choose your pace and what success means to you.
